The Leading Edge Alliance, a partnership formed of nonprofits, universities and regional educational service agencies has developed a certification program (delivered primarily online) to prepare K-12 teachers and instructional leaders for online teaching and learning. Time to complete the curriculum is estimated at six to eight weeks but will vary based on participants' experience with the tools used in the course. In this session I will provide an overview of the Leading Edge Online Teacher Certification program as well as a brief overview of California K12 online learning (if time permits). |

Learn how teachers are using Edmodo in a variety of environments to connect with their students and peers. This session will provide examples for educators whether their students have iPads and laptops, or a single computer in the back of their classroom. With Edmodo, teachers can collaborate and create differentiated instruction in order to meet the needs of all of the students.
